Does Dostoevesky’s understanding of the “Russian soul” still reflect the Russian soul in our modern world?
Hello to all my Friday evening friends,
I am sorry it has been so long since we had a Friday evening together! I had to leave Ukraine to re-new my visa, and it has been a long process this time, thanks to the new laws about visas in Ukraine.
Our Friday English conversation group will begin again this Friday, at 7:00 p.m.
The theme will be:
Q. Does Dostoevesky’s understanding of the “Russian soul” still reflect the Russian soul in our modern world?
So first we will have to decide what Dostoevsky is saying about the Russian “soul”, and then if the picture is still the same today? So it is a subject with many sides to it, and maybe there are no definitive answers, but it will make for an interesting discussion!
Bring your happy disposition (attitude), and a small gift of healthy food to enjoy with a cup of tea. (But this is not mandatory).
